CHASIN' STEEL—a slang term for Steelhead fishing. The band members are avid steelhead fishermen, so they decided to have their name reference this—blending two of their favorite pastimes—fishing and bluegrass music.

Our hats are canted to the side for our hero Jimmy Martin and we grow our sideburns long in tribute to the father Mr. Bill Monroe.
